Temporal Reflections: Curating Timescapes
Interior Architecture Triennial ‘24The exhibition explored the passage of time through the lens of art and design. Our curatorial team worked closely to develop a concept that reflected the fluidity and layers of temporal experiences. Through careful selection of works, the exhibition design incorporated both physical and conceptual elements to evoke a sense of time, memory, and transformation. We engaged with the space in a way that allowed visitors to experience time not as a linear progression, but as a collection of overlapping moments, all presented through dynamic installations and thoughtful visual storytelling. Every detail—from the layout and installation to the printing and final touches—was meticulously executed by our team, resulting in a cohesive narrative that invited viewers to reflect on their own relationship with time.
We constructed a structure from aluminum - reflective elements to support and display the artworks. These pieces were hung against a backdrop of reflective paper, enhancing their visibility and impact. To illustrate the convergence of different time periods, each piece was accompanied by a label showing the year of creation, inviting viewers to consider how these diverse works coexist within the same temporal framework. Additionally, ambient lighting was strategically used to highlight the reflective qualities of the paper and create a sense of depth, further emphasizing the theme of overlapping moments in time.
